(BALTIMORE – July 29, 2017) BMORENEWS — After months of challenging work, Black Business Review told Bmorenews.com in an exclusive interview that they have launched a new website, quite possibly making them the first black-owned tickets reseller in the United States. Their website is www.BBRTIX.com.
Bmorenews has reached out to contacts across the country and has yet to find another black-owned ticket reseller. Event promoter LaRian Finney said he did not know of another black-owned outlet. Finney has a long track record of hosting events in Maryland and travels extensively. Corey Mathis, our Bmorenews correspondent in New Orleans, said that he has never heard of a black ticket reseller either. Marcus Murchison, Bmorenews’ Washington, D.C. correspondent, concurs.
According to BBRTIX publisher Alexis Coates, “Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors with an easier way to sell tickets for their events and enjoy lower fees in the process.” He added, “We also provide the visitor the ability to setup not only local events but national events as well. This new website is interactive and gives prospective clients useful information about our services and recent events on the homepage.”
Among the new features, the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to foster improved communication with our clients.
Coates said, “We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, articles, blog posts, company announcements and client successes in the testimonials section.
Also, we hope users find the new website fresh and modern. We worked hard to make sure it contains simple yet valuable event information to assist event planners in their next event.”
