Ciox Health Announces Appointment of Kevin M. Briscoe as Director, Corporate Communications and Community

Sept. 20, 2017 (Alpharetta, GA)—Ciox Health, the nation’s leader in health information management and data exchange, announced today the appointment of Kevin M. Briscoe as director of corporate communications and community, responsible for driving a culture of communication, community, knowledge sharing and transparency across the Ciox organization.

Mr. Briscoe joins Ciox from Eagle Medical Services, LLC (EMS), where he provided communications support to the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ) and its Immigrant, Refugee and Migrant Health Branch (IRMH) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. A longtime practitioner in his field, he has also worked for such brands as EY, Amtrak, Working Mother Media and Northrop Grumman.

“I am really excited to welcome Kevin to Ciox to lead our communications efforts as we continue to build capacity in effectively reaching out to our internal stakeholders,” said Meg Hoyecki, vice president, marketing. “We have a lot of great stories to share with and about our employees and clients; Kevin’s experience as a content creator and strategist will help us best tell those stories.”

Among his more high-profile accomplishments while at EMS/CDC, Mr. Briscoe worked closely with division and branch staff to develop a comprehensive communications annex to DGMQ’s Emergency Operations Plan; build content and strategy around the agency’s annual “Refugee Journey to Wellbeing” interactive exhibit; develop web content to promote CDC’s efforts to support World Refugee Day and World TB Day, and identify other opportunities for outreach and awareness.

“I’m very happy to be part of the Ciox team,” said Mr. Briscoe. “Using any number of communications channels and strategies, I see my role as one that ensures that our 8,000 employees can visualize a connection between their everyday duties and our overall business objectives. Creating this line of sight builds a better, more productive workforce while at the same time strengthening the Ciox brand in the marketplace.”
