Maryland (BBR) - BTST Services, where a Better Tomorrow Starts Today, is dedicated to providing the highest level of comprehensive and accessible mental health treatment to children, adults and families in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Prince George's County, Cecil County and surrounding areas.
A phrase you may hear a lot at BTST is “Meeting you where you are”. That statement is the foundation for everything that we do! We provide our services not only in our calming and well-appointed offices, but also in homes, schools, and communities. We do our very best to ensure that all people have access to mental health treatment.
BTST’s Out Patient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) and PRP (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) provides on and offsite individual / family / group therapy and medication management. Our team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, counselors, and social workers, are diverse, culturally competent, and trauma trained. BTST staff are well practiced in a myriad of evidence -based interventions to help heal people and get results.
At BTST, we are driven to provide quality mental health treatment regardless of socio-economic background. We understand that for many underserved populations, lack of transportation can be a major barrier to participating in ongoing mental health treatment. As such, we provide transportation with our fleet of well-maintained BTST shuttles and vans. At no cost to the client, we provide door to door service to and from medication appointments for all clients who do not otherwise have the means. We do so because, at BTST we believe that all people deserve access to health care no matter their socio-economic status.
BTST has a passion for servicing others using as many platforms as possible. Our mission at BTST is to be on the cutting edge of technological advancements to provide our clients with the most efficient and accessible care, in an everchanging society. With this goal in mind, we have developed a fully interactive website where clients and colleagues can find blogs about the latest news in mental health. Client families can log on to our Parent Portal. Where they can find resources such as making a meal on a budget, or self-care tools all at the click of a mouse. Furthering our efforts to engage, we launched our podcast entitled “Meeting You Where You Are”. The podcast features a sometimes lighthearted and always relevant discussion about what’s new in the mental health community, social issues impacting communities, and hot topics on the “On the Couch” segment.
